A certain university ruined their game shirts in the laundry and needed them restored for a game tonight. At 7:00am I was doing a touch up job with ink and a brush. Shirts were delivered for the game this evening.

A handmade present from Venezuela sent by a guy who worked with us for a few months before Christmas and has now returned home. How thoughtful.

28 Jan 2020

A modern style masterpiece? Nope. Peanut butter inside a jar.

Monday, January 27, 2020

Stuck in a 2 hour accident snarl up on Rte 66. Thankful I wasn’t involved and enjoyed watching the sun come up as I listen to The Wright Brothers audiobook.

Sunday, January 26, 2020

I’ve been looking for a juicer for a while and came across this wonderful Depression glass piece. Under regular light and under UV light on the right.

This house was a wreck that has just had some chipboard sheets thrown over the old walls and was then wrapped. I saw a 4” gap between 2 of the boards before they wrapped it. It will likely sell for $250K,  when revamped, to some poor soul.

Thursday, January 23, 2020

This is the first time I’ve ever seen the girls so close together. There’s hope for their bonding yet!

Tuesday, January 21, 2020

Delivered direct from The Homeland, 2 1lb pots of Marmite. The pen is there for scale. These should keep me happy for a month or two!

20 Jan 2020

While picking up some books I spotted this at the library. If it wasn’t for the fur this would be me each evening!

Sunday, January 19, 2020

A disturbingly ugly baby portrait I shuddered from in a museum at Edinburg, VA.

Friday, January 17, 2020

Dinner in town with Carmen. Grass fed beef with garlic potatoes, coleslaw and even the ketchup was homemade.

Thursday, January 16, 2020

I had read that if you found the monkey in Trader Joe’s you would get a prize, so I was ecstatic to find him, but not so elated to discover my prize was a lollipop. Guess it was meant for the kids...

15 Jan 2020

I often pass this house and wonder how such a pretty residence could let their front garden resemble a junk yard. Such a shame.

Tuesday, January 14, 2020

A rainy empty Main Street this morning. I love to occasionally drive down here first thing in the morning, marveling each time when I find I’m the only one awake in this part of our small town.

Monday, January 13, 2020

Finally sold this piece of machinery that never paid itself off. It’s a shirt folder and bagger. It’s being picked up today and heading to NJ.

Sunday, January 12, 2020

The last stop of the day after a fun day out with Emily and Richard. Chester Gap Cellars, where we enjoyed some fine wine as the sun set.

Saturday, January 11, 2020

Hanging out at The Beer Museum with Bheki and Winter while sipping a superb IPA from Aslin Brewery.

Friday, January 10, 2020

Before I went to work I had to check out the latest dilemma in FroRo. Some poor soul, who survived the accident, blacked out and crashed into a church. The truck can’t be moved until it’s been assessed as to whether any structural damage has been caused to the building.

Thursday, January 9, 2020

Went to a free paint technique class at Lowe’s this evening and was shown this cool effect of using a rag rolled up to dab paint on a wall.

The beginning of snow and still over an hour from home. I’ve always loved this dogwood tree, it’s beautiful during every season.

Monday, January 6, 2020

Spotted at my chiropractor. Not sure about this marketing, definitely ballsy, but I didn’t buy any!

Sunday, January 5, 2020

This made me start when I turned the corner in a flea market. I thought she was real but soon discovered she was a doll.

4 Jan 2020

Everyone loves a fire to stand around. Fun with Bill and Jen’s friends tonight.

Friday, January 3, 2020

A friend sent me this photo of my home town, Maidstone. A view of The High Street with the Queen Victoria memorial. Apart from the old vehicles it looks pretty much the same now as it did 100 years ago.

2 Jan 2020

An interesting sky on the way home from work. Looks like a paintbrush was dragged through the clouds.

Wednesday, January 1, 2020

I started the New Year industriously. House cleaning and privacy window created in my bathroom.
