I stopped at DeBaggios for some organic herb and veggie plants on the way home from work, and was amazed when a guy called Carter approached me as he recognized me from my blog. I've never had this happen before and felt bashful yet delighted at the same time. A lovely moment!

One of the beautiful tulips below the patio at home. Sadly, they're on their way out, such a shame they don't flower longer.

A very small part of my huge stack of empty print cartridges at work.

Blossoms, leaves and spring flowers are bursting into bloom, and the grass is due for its first cut at Meadow House.

Jeff recommended some Brookwood Farms BBQ. I was a little skeptical but made a sandwich adding avocado and tomato, washing it down with a Boddingtons. Delicious!

Been seeing these popping up along Rye 50 near work. Colorful plastic trees trying to compete with the natural spring colors.

Tuesday, April 21, 2015

All the dogwoods are blooming on the hill and around the house. I love these flowers.

The British section of Harris Teeter near work. I looked up and down, side to side, round and round, even walked away and returned to look again, but still no Marmite! I was in total disbelief! But thankfully, I can get it in Marshall.

Wednesday, April 15, 2015

A beautiful driveway of forsythia blooming brightly in the early morning sun on my way to work.

Tuesday, April 14, 2015

Rosie Lee has become an extremely avid Marmite fan and could barely wait to stick her head in the last packet of crisps to finish the crumbs.

A sweet cottage soaking up the sun down Rte 15 before the rain comes in tonight.

Spring is here! Buds are bursting out everywhere and all of a sudden pink confetti is exploding on tree branches. It's beautiful!

Wednesday, April 8, 2015

Arrived home to another parcel from Mum containing Marmite crisps, aniseed balls, lots of newspaper cuttings and postcards, and these sticks of rock. I'll likely share these but the rhubarb and custard one is mine!

Tuesday, April 7, 2015

A rainy drive to camera club with clouds seeming to form on the low hills and then rise up.

Monday, April 6, 2015

Pretty pansies at an organic plant nursery near work that I had no idea was there until I found out one of my friends works there. Roll on end of April when there's little chance of frost and I can buy some plants.

Sunday, April 5, 2015

Picked up the mail from Saturday and found this inside from the Wildlife Center of Virginia. What an unexpected joy to see this dear little fox with such a sweet note. They have ensured a Christmas donation will be coming from me!

Why oh why does she have her jacket tucked inside her leggings? I don't think 3 guesses are needed to determine which store I'm in...

New feeder with new natural food. I'm prepared and waiting for my regulars to return!

Wednesday, April 1, 2015

The boy again. We've both been doing this for most of the past 2 days.
