So this is what happens to one of those expanding hose pipes when the outside material perishes. I’d been looking for this everywhere but luckily had bought a better quality one when I couldn’t find it. 

Just about to start spin class. 

I started potting some plants for the back garden. Still a lot to do!

Rob and I spent a fabulous afternoon spent at Bill & Jenn’s Ham and Lamb Party. Here, Bill is playing Nancy at croquet. 

Another rain storm on its way with strong winds. I came home along Rte 55 for some of the drive as I love to see this tree and white fence near The Plains.

Finally there’s some color in my front garden, these beautiful irises are blooming and there’s plenty more appearing. Plus I’ll be adding more plants this weekend.

Driving to a meeting today, I chose the rural route, a beautiful and low traffic journey, but then had to deal with suburban sprawl, a mess of gridlock and accidents. I was glad to get home!

Easter Sunday at a church near home. I loved the floral cross, and saw more at other churches in Front Royal. I’d never seen these before.

Some ladies celebrating Earth Day in Woodstock, VA.

Face talked with Mum and Greg today. Greg’s visiting Mum for Easter and they were enjoying a lovely lunch and a few pints of superb English ale. While I sat at work, still trying to wake up. Great to chat with them though!

I guess, with this number plate and a cling sticker saying, ‘shoes are for losers’, this person walks around barefooted all day?

I’m so excited to see these Virginian bluebells growing wild in my flower beds and there’s quite a few of them. I shall now plant other woodland plants to accompany them, I’ve also spotted some violets also.

Jackpot!!! Mum sent me everything Maltesers, including an Easter egg. Wonderful treasure!

A miserable rainy Sunday but on returning home from running errands, whenever I drive into FroRo and see the mountains my heart is lifted.

On a warm evening folks are enjoying the custard stand in Stephens City.

A bevy of old bangers tucked away on a back road as I drove a different way to work.

Helping to plant 400 trees along the Rappahannock River.

Tricksie Treat shoved her head into the yoghurt pot as far as possible to lick every remnant from the container. Clean up afterwards took her a good 10 minutes. Guess I’ll be sharing my yoghurts from now one

A hold up on 66 on the way home was a result of this crash through the barrier. Hopefully everyone was OK.

Spotted this down a driveway on my way to work.

Why do people leave these things lying around at work? It’s so wasteful if they’re not eaten!

I went with Carmen to view an old house in Warrenton that was on her client’s list of possibilities. A nice enough property but preferred mine!
