I resumed getting my eggs from the little farm bear Marshall. It’s been a few months since I last went, but I was pleased the price was the same, and that she still packs the eggs in a pattern.

For someone who doesn’t like matching sets of anything, I seem to have one on my kitchen countertop.

Monday, February 26, 2024

On the back of a Toyota, ain’t that the truth? In retaliation to the ‘baby on board’ stickers.

Saturday, February 24, 2024

I treated myself to a proper piece of artwork today. An original oil painting to add to my collection of snow paintings.

Thursday, February 22, 2024

The machinery stands idle as everyone disappears for a coffee and donut break.

Wednesday, February 21, 2024

Rosie Lee is very happy now her bed has been upgraded with sub floor heating. A heat pad to you and me.

Tuesday, February 20, 2024

As the low sun shine through the window it highlighted my decanter, and nothing else. It seemed to be illuminated from the inside.

Monday, February 19, 2024

I pass this unique BBQ every day. It’s obviously having a snooze until the warmer weather arrives.

17 Feb 2024

The metal bull outside Paladin restaurant appeared to be salivating as the ice on it melted in the sun.

Just the one glass of red for me, as I celebrated National Drink Wine Day at a local winery with friends.

Friday, February 16, 2024

My miniature daffodils are already about to bloom. They’ll look pretty in the supposed 5” snow due to fall tomorrow.

Thursday, February 15, 2024

The view from my kitchen window. Bare trees, with a cardinal up there somewhere singing his heart out. Beautiful.

Wednesday, February 14, 2024

I’ve never seen a purple house before, but we have one in Front Royal. I quite like it!

Tuesday, February 13, 2024

Rain pummeling the lounge window as I got up, and would later turn into a fleeting snow storm.

Monday, February 12, 2024

Thick fog on the way to work, which had not lifted when I came home.

Sunday, February 11, 2024

Every night I see this face staring at me when I go to bed. I bought it because it has the same expression I often see on Rosie Lee.

Saturday, February 10, 2024

Patrick and Jim playing a duet with their harmonicas. Harmonicas have become very popular in our crowd. I’m contemplating dusting mine off and joining in.

Friday, February 9, 2024

The street light shines through the front door, illuminating a huge vintage street light bulb I have on top of a dresser, casting a shadow on to the wall.

Wednesday, February 7, 2024

Our local man has another sobering message for us all as we come home from work.

Tuesday, February 6, 2024

Had a quick go in the new DTG machine at work. Took me all of 10 minutes to learn, hardly any different from the previous machines we’ve had. And this was my first print. You know him as SpongeBob, but I’ve always called him SquareBob. This will throw a few folks through a loop!

Monday, February 5, 2024

An interesting little barn building I spotted on my way home tonight.

Sunday, February 4, 2024

I bought an old frame for a few dollars, not interested in the picture. I later realized it was an original, and looked up the artist. His guoache paintings can fetch up to a couple of hundred dollars.

Friday, February 2, 2024

Serious poker playing at the tavern. They keep trying to get me to join the table, but I’m no gambler.

Thursday, February 1, 2024

The first thing I saw as I entered work, still half asleep. I thought it was doggie doo at first until I realized it was likely someone’s breakfast. Either way, it doesn’t look appealing.
