Sci-Fi treatment on an abandoned house I saw this afternoon.

Saturday, March 28, 2015

Took a class in cell phone photography today. This is heading down Rte 66.

Some cool bar lights enhanced with a little digital manipulation.

A photo taken by Eric at my first Brew with the Crew event with DCUE. It was very successful so it looks like I'll be scheduling these regularly. Great turnout with awesome friends.

Looking through a glass darkly, a wine glass to be precise.

Tuesday, March 24, 2015

I saw this car today in Warrenton. Every panel had a passage from the Bible written on it.

One Easter box off on its way to England for Mum. I had a lot of fun decorating this!

Sunday, March 22, 2015

Driving through the Shenandoah Valley on the way home.

Saturday, March 21, 2015

Had a wonderful afternoon drinking beers and catching up with an old friend, along with another English guy living here in Marshall. Didn't once think of taking a photo so here's one of the beautiful daffodils I bought yesterday catching the last rays of the setting sun.

We had a nice surprise at work when Boss Man brought in his coffee machine which makes lattes and espressos. I wanted to try all of them but settled for 3 powerful espresso shots. Lovely!

I was privileged to be driving behind one of our nation's heroes this afternoon. God bless him and keep him safe.

Wednesday, March 18, 2015

Saw this one word on a test print amongst a pile of other shirts in a box at the bottom of the dryer at work. I kind of liked the way it stood out like a subliminal message.

A truck that Mary and I came across while exploring round the back of an abandoned brewery in Allentown. I'm betting the owner won't make 50ft before that lot falls off.

The production guys were putting out the right message today.

Tuesday, March 10, 2015

It's been raining most of the day and the trees look ghostly and eerie in the foggy damp dusk.

Monday, March 9, 2015

Poor Kota on his first foray round the back of the house this year realizes that the cat flap hasn't been put back in the window yet.

Sunday, March 8, 2015

We met 4 intrepid canoe guys at Andy State Park. They had just completed a 4 day trip traveling 32 miles downriver on the Shenandoah from above Luray. That meant they had been paddling through the snow storm on Thursday. I was in awe.

The snow is beautiful but really hoping this will be the last. Looking forward to seeing some buds on the branches.

Thursday, March 5, 2015

While 7" of snow fell outside, I made a couple of cat houses from t-shirts, card and metal hangers. Rosie Lee took a while before she ventured inside one but Kota loved them immediately.

Wednesday, March 4, 2015

Racing to get home before the roads got too bad. Freezing rain was falling fast and I was still about 20 miles from Marshall.

Monday, March 2, 2015

When scraping the ice off Stuart this morning, my kayaking sticker looked like the paddler was pushing his way through frozen waters!

Sunday, March 1, 2015

H looks how I feel. I'm not ready for another week of work.
