We took the car to the local hand wash car centre run by new European immigrants. They did a wonderful job but we had to laugh at their Christmas tree in the waiting room. Not a single light or decoration to be seen. Mum and I had never seen a bare Christmas tree before!

The notice board in West Moor's local coffee shop sporting an ASBO for a local guy. It made me smile seeing such a public humiliation, a bit like being thrown in the gallows.

Found this really cool Christmas robot wrapping paper today to wrap presents  for a couple of guy friends.

My only Christmas decoration here at Meadow House. I'm taking some to Mum's house but it will be a nice change not to have to take down decorations in the new year when I come home.

Leaving my desk with everything done! No outstanding work and no jobs to pass on to anyone else. Vacation time for nearly 3 weeks. Woo hoo!

At our DCUE social meet up, the last I'll see if this crew until next year. A fun evening but didn't get home until 12:15 am so have really been dragging today.

Couldn't believe I saw this in Walmart last night. Do the guys think if they sit in this, the missus won't see them? 

Met this good looking chap at PetSmart today. 

First ice storm this season and my ice scraper was in the trunk which was iced shut. Had to use an egg slice to break up the ice on my car windows!

Part of my Secret Santa gift from work. Fun for a few minutes but don't think they'll be sticking around for too long!

It was nice to be hauled away from work this afternoon for a short hike and dinner at The Hunters Head.

A wet rainy day today with heavy fog. Some errands were run but the day was spent mainly relaxing after a manic week.
