On a wet and muddy walk with a group this morning, with plenty of soggy and slippery leaves on the path. Our regular dog, Angus, loved the muddy trails.

Due to everything being so expensive now, many cuts of. Eat have security tags on them. A sad sign of the times.

Friday, November 28, 2025

It’s been a rough week, so I unpacked this little tree to cheer me up. The rest of the decorations will follow soon.

Thursday, November 27, 2025

I had to stop and take a photo of this street in Darlo as I walked across it. It reminded me of Philly, with the cars parked in the middle of the street.

Wednesday, November 26, 2025

Some of my neighbour’s vintage Christmas cards. She has about a thousand of these.

Tuesday, November 25, 2025

This is my Derek Fowler, Honey Bruins, lamp from my childhood. I’ve not found another one the same on the internet, only similar. I would stare at it for hours while lying in bed.

Monday, November 24, 2025

I’ve never seen these before. This was in an A&E, likely because of the long waits people have.

Sunday, November 23, 2025

The sun setting from my attic window. Those clouds are settling in ready for the rain expected tomorrow.

Saturday, November 22, 2025

Snow was still clinging to shaded areas on our walk around Harpley this morning.

Friday, November 21, 2025

Checking out the beautiful library, at Ushaw Moor Historic House, usually closed to the public, but opened today with tickets. We weren’t allowed to touch anything, but it was incredible just seeing these fabulous ancient tomes.

Thursday, November 20, 2025

Another snowy day, and the setting sun’s colors were caught in the crystal hanging in my lounge window.

Wednesday, November 19, 2025

The first snow of the season. This is the cherry tree in the little park by my house just after it began this morning.

Tuesday, November 18, 2025

I’ve always loved this retro looking industrial tower in Middlesbrough, so had to stop and snap a photo, especially with all the smoke spewing skywards.

Monday, November 17, 2025

I can’t eat a single meal without having to fight off this heathen. His face and paws force their way into every plate. He has no self respect.

Sunday, November 16, 2025

Loved this veterans tribute at the church as I passed through Kirk Merrington today.

Saturday, November 15, 2025

Trying out an abstract photo on my phone. I think it worked pretty well.

Friday, November 14, 2025

The U.S. Mint ended the production of pennies yesterday, so I’m glad I hung onto my glass bank brick jammed full of them.

Thursday, November 13, 2025

At the Durham Lumiere Festival. This bicycle wheel installation was my favourite.

Wednesday, November 12, 2025

Mr Blue Skye, absolutely disgusted that I had the cheek and audacity to offer him a bite of my banana. Obviously, I won’t dare do it again.

Tuesday, November 11, 2025

Tricksie Treat, determined to catch my attention, since it’s gone past Treat Time, which should have been 7pm exactly.

Monday, November 10, 2025

The Bedburn Beck, running through Hamsterley Forest, looks lovely with the autumn colors reflecting in the water.

Sunday, November 9, 2025

Exploring Blackhall Rocks beach, a few minutes from home. Found another handful of sea glass.

Friday, November 7, 2025

I never thought I’d ever be sat in a school staff room, but here we are, covering an admin assistant position for a day.

Thursday, November 6, 2025

A car light swung past the house, casting pretty shadows from my roses against the window blinds.

Wednesday, November 5, 2025

A superb breakfast at the Flight Ranch this morning  with my brother.

Tuesday, November 4, 2025

Mr Blue Skye had no intention of appearing grateful at being wrapped up like a burrito, but did realize after a few minutes that he was liking that ‘cozy feeling’.

Monday, November 3, 2025

A very windy day with showers, a perfect setting for filling up the slow cooker and making a pork stew.

Saturday, November 1st, 2025

At Whitby for their annual Goth Fest. There were hundreds dressed up, the streets were packed.

Sunday, November 2, 2025

I drove around Weardale today, stopping to walk around Stanhope, Frosterley, and Wolsingham. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous.
