Carmen left a thoughtful present on my porch today. Lovely to get this especially since an annual fireworks party I usually attend at a friend’s house was canceled due to COVID.

This native plant is a Buttonbush, the flowers attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. I’d been wanting one for a while so was ecstatic to finally find one and then see it thrive in front of the bee balm.
