Little Rosie Lee has decided that this chair, which has always been out of bounds, will be her new favorite spot. Guess I have to give in.

The last bare branches are slowly being blanketed in tiny fresh green buds, exploding across the countryside. Another week and our trees will be fully in leaf.

Color coordinated today in what I’m realizing is one of my favorite hues. 

I love watching the gradual progression of the leaves opening on the trees. It won’t be long until this tulip tree has it’s orange and lemon flowers.

A crappy horrible day of rain, with another forecast tomorrow. Where did our Spring go?

I received a package from Mum. Treats for Rosie Lee and tea bags as well as these fabulous salts. I tried the seaweed one with salmon for dinner. Very tasty!

A lovely morning to repot some houseplants while waiting for Emily and Rob to arrive.
