A hit and sticky day spent shooting sunflowers in Maryland.

Went to a class in Marshall today where we were told what plants deers dislike and how to erect a fence to deter them. We even had a pretend deer!

I've really been hating the tremendous amount of residential building near work, green fields disappearing as ugly houses took their place, but something good has come of it. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when, while driving around the new builds, I saw this. 2 out of my 3 favorite stores opening soon, so now I'll be able to go shopping in my lunch hours!

A handful of us made it out to Dogfish Head Brewery despite the torrential rain clogging up traffic. A fun evening with plans made for future events.
