This beautiful Canadian Goldenrod, a native to NE USA has been blooming for a month on my back deck. The bees and butterflies love it.

So happy that my most excellent friend Bill cleaned up and repaired a compression valve, as old as my 1950 house. It used to leak heavily when I turned on the tap for outside water, but I didn’t want to replace it, since it’s a beautiful original piece. It works wonderfully now!

Front Royal are gearing up for Halloween, and the decorations get bigger each year.

I’ve never seen a birthday balloon this big before! At our local brewery where me and a couple of friends went after our tree steward meeting. We guessed someone had just turned 21.

Hanging out with a couple of very dear friends, who took my mind off my current situation and filled a few hours with camaraderie and laughter.
