We had a very heavy storm with buckets of rain so no need for watering in the evening. All my pepper plants have new fruit growing but my tomatoes are finishing. Summer is ending.

I brought home some Maine acorns as a treat for Sebastion. Hope he enjoys them!

Saw these awesome grollies in a shop window at Portsmouth, NH with Emily and Margie. Don't know anyone who could fill these as well as shown here so didn't buy them. Shame.

How sad that this little yarn and wool shop is closing down in The Plains. Mum will be upset, she loved it in there. God forbid we get yet another bloody posh grub shop or restaurant.
