Starlings fighting over the suet cake feeder outside my kitchen door.

Thursday, February 27, 2020

A space galaxy, but really this is my left eye, showing a ‘tough’, which is good, optic nerve as the bright orb. No issues at all. The right eye reflected the same.

Wednesday, February 26, 2020

Someone wasn’t feeling very romantic. This was done last night.

Tuesday, February 25, 2020

For the first time it looks like The Blue House will have some daffodils.

Monday, February 24, 2020

Ryan, on the left, is moving out of town so our spin class instructor got her, and the rest of us, a cake. Needless to say, we didn’t really want to eat it, but Barb and I made a valiant effort!

Sunday, February 23, 2020

While grabbing some groceries I did a double-take when I spotted these radioactive bagels. How ghastly!

Saturday, February 22, 2020

I came across a small workshop of a few people making Mardi Gras masks. They were so engrossed that I didn’t want to encroach.

Friday, February 21, 2020

Saw this brush pile and wish I had thought to do this in the garden. There will be a couple for the next winter for the critters to overwinter in.

Thursday, February 20, 2020

Breaking into my new 1lb pot of Marmite, spreading on the bread thick. A great way to start my day.

Monday, February 17, 2020

Today is likely this houses’s last day standing in Front Royal. There will likely be some eyesore thrown up in its place.

Sunday, February 16, 2020

My Campari and soda glowed like it was radioactive under the kitchen lights. The saturation on this photo was not enhanced.

Saturday, February 15, 2020

Capon Springs pool, which is fed only by the spring water with no additives. It looked inviting even in the middle of winter.

Thursday, February 13, 2020

A beautiful sunset as I left the house to attend my first ever writing workshop. It was an enlightening evening.

Wednesday, February 12, 2020

I’ve bought a few of these antique glass fridge containers so I can do away with plastic. These are getting hard to find locally but I’m all set now.

Tuesday, February 11, 2020

The boys finally got the new embroidery machine on a fork lift, so now I can get that big metal box up for sale. $800 OBO anyone?

Monday, February 10, 2020

I was going to complete this with some strong comments but just cannot bring myself to put my signature to his ‘victory survey’. This bumpf will go in the recycling bin.

Saturday, February 8, 2020

Trying the whiskies at the local Filibuster Distillery. Made a promise with 2 ladies there to return and try the gin flight in the near future.

Friday, February 7, 2020

2 presses with 4 staff running late to complete a personal order for Boss Man. Only Olga working with me was a pro, the rest of us were rookies, but we got the job done!

Thursday, February 6, 2020

Look at the garbage that was dropped in my nail box today.

Wednesday, February 5, 2020

A break in production as we watched a lady stretchered out of a business opposite us. Hoping she’ll be OK...

Tuesday, February 4, 2020

Steps leading up to the Mosby’s Men memorial right by my house.

Monday, February 3, 2020

A large group of us residents attended the town budget meeting tonight to protest about the interim town manager firing 5 solid long serving staff members so money could be saved.

2 Feb 2020

I had to sit on this until today as I was so angry. Jiffy Lube failed to replace 2 locking nuts on 2 wheels plus didn’t replace an air cap. They’re supposedly going to replace all today after I called them this morning.

Handing out a prize for the best costume at FroRo’s Polar Plunge.
