Saw this crane on 66, either rejoicing or crying out for help, couldn’t decide!

This is the latest addition in FroRo. Never seen one before but it’s very popular.

The boys in production now have AC and it works, even with 2 gas dryers blowing out 350F air! Well it should, it’s $3500 in case you want one!

I tried using a palette knife with acrylics rather than wasting oil paints and because the ‘painting’ was so horrendously bad, I’m only showing a corner of it!

Waiting for spin class to start, and it was only me with our instructor. But fun!

Rosie Lee was very excited about the new cat grass. Tricksie Treat was indifferent.

A very fun evening with Janice watching Young Frankenstein at the Shenandoah University theater. Superb production.

Waiting for dinner to be served.

I just picked a lovely handful of tomatoes to snack on mid morning tomorrow. It will make me think of my peaceful garden when I’m sitting in my office.

My bag of Maltesers from Mum is now a chocolatey biscuit but still just as delicious.

Tricksie Treat saying, “Wot, another photo?” She’s getting better and doesn’t run off when I approach her now. She’s been with us for a year and has come a long way. 

I was so happy to see my doe again with baby. I had hoped when she sat under my tree alone that the baby was tucked away somewhere safe, and they both stopped when I called out to her so I could take this photo. Made my day!

My doe came back to spend a few hours under the tree again on another hot and humid afternoon.

A fun evening with Carmen and Tim at Front Royal Brewing where they have this board for ‘pay it forward’ beers. Great idea, and a few on their for AT hikers, which I liked.

This tomato plant has gone nuts, I’ve never had one grow this big before, it’s become a tree! And that’s basil growing under it.

A bad photo because it was taken with my phone while I was on the porch, but a female ruby throated hummer was loving my bee balm and even perching on their stems in between sips of nectar.

A country store at Rockfish Gap. I’ve never seen so many colorful table linens in one place before. Beautiful but expensive.

Outside the diner this morning this car was parked, its owner likely inside the diner having breakfast. It wasn’t hot but the dog was getting fresh air with the door open and a fan running. And it was obviously a much treasured hound.

A fun night at the Beer Museum in Fro Ro with Steve and Brian. Superb beers and music.

A package from Mum containing this floppy 13oz pouch of melted chocolate. I could just poke a straw through and suck it up, but it’s gone in the fridge for half an hour to solidify.  It will feel like 3 hours...
