I love looking at this pretty ornamental cherry tree from my kitchen window. It was alive today with honey bees, a loud humming filling the air every time I walked past as I worked in the garden.

It looks like this was someone’s new tiny home. Would have loved to have seen the inside.

Two rockers for the porch. Free! A clean up and new cushions and they’ll be ready to ride!

A truly hellish McMansion that I usually manage to avert my eyes from as I pass. But the morning sun glinting in those ugly windows attracted my attention. This monstrosity took ages to build and it’s very apparent that they made ‘design’ decisions as they progressed. It will likely cave in within 20 years. Hopefully.

A farm near works often has their thoughts for the day posted on a board, sometimes they’re politically provoking but this one may me chuckle, and I wondered if their goats gave cuddles like some other farms are advertising.

I wanted a classic garden gnome and came across this. Made me laugh so much that I had to have it.

Bill fooling around with a ‘BUMP’ sign he found at a flea market we were visiting.

I watched Armand Cabrera, an acclaimed local artist paint an oil landscape from start to finish. It was very educational and inspirational. And wonderful to only have to walk 10 minutes from my house and be part of a small audience. A very personal experience.

At 5:15 when I got home from work, rush hour traffic was heavy in FroRo. Not! Zero stress, love it.

Rain all day and the drive home was hazardous. As well as more rain tomorrow, we also have high winds to look forward to. Where’s Spring?

This has become one of my favorite meals, and another reason to eat more eggs.

While shopping at Home Goods I spotted these horrendously huge rabbits behind the registers. They were at least 3ft tall and I wondered if they were placed away from customers so they wouldn’t scare them up close.

Spin class time. Arriving early to warm up before the lights go down and the heart rate goes up. It also appears the guy in front has been decapitated by the big screen!

Studying the gifts at The Tacky Party. Who knows what horrendous delights lie beneath those wrappings?

Took the day off and did a 7.5 mile hike with Richard at Kennedy’s peak. Beautiful, and saw a bald eagle soaring above us. Amazing views at the lookout.

I followed this biker in town and wondered if bikers realized how silly they looked with their feet stuck out in those footpegs.

Crash on 66 on my way to work. It didn’t look too serious but I liked the ‘blocky’ effect of the photo when I zoomed in. 

Post workout and post shower glass of wine. Well deserved!

At least getting to the car wash early in the morning meant no queues. A red light telling me to stop lit up the suds creating a sci-fi effect.

After a few decades of them sitting in a plastic bag I’ve finally got my badges displayed in a case. Some from childhood, some from Dad’s work trips and some from my young adult days. It’s good to see them again.

The beautiful Skyline Drive, taken from Luray, during a drive around with a buddy.

Walking back from town after a great evening with friends to this view of my house as I walk up the hill. Love how it looks so cozy and inviting with the snow on the ground and warm lights glowing from inside.

The Skyline Drive remains closed due to snow and ice. On my way home from work I could see the snow on the mountains. Spring’s a long time coming.

I got the top off of a cheap desk I bought secondhand. I then had to take some of it apart and take a door off its hinges so I could drag and push it upstairs. 40 minutes later after my intensive workout the desk was reassembled, the door back on it’s hinges, then the cats had treats for their assistance and I had a glass of red.

I converted an old camera into a lamp today. Really pleased with the result.
