While out urbexing today Richard found a mask and decided to make a new profile photo of himself. He looked really scary...

A beautiful waterfall on my hike today, and I had the performance all to myself. Magical!

A bad day at work. My film printer died but awesome Epson are already shipping a replacement FOC, but then one of the embroidery heads broke down too. Oscar and Moises are trying to fix it.  

Delicious sushi for lunch with ginger and my beloved wasabi on top. Yum!

We had a beautiful sky over Meadow House just as the storm ended. We were lucky, lives were lost in VA last night due to tornados. 

This little old building in town has managed to remain standing despite the snow storms. The last snow piles should disappear with the rain coming during the next two days.

A nice way to start the week with gas under $1.50. Really helps with my long commuting.

A spectacular sunrise on the way to work, beautifully enhanced by th icy puddles in the road. So lucky to have seen this.

This noisy helicopter was hovering low over work today making conversation almost impossible. I commented that it wasn't likely to be a news chopper because it lacked any markings, nor a police chopper for the same reasons. Unless it was undercover...

Someone knocked over our street sign during the ice storm. At least they had the decency to pick up the name plate and place it in the wall.

Waiting for the ice to melt so I can go to work. The tractor came and cleared a lot off the road for us but the ice storm took its toll. Our road sign was knocked over and a man died yesterday morning in a car crash a couple of miles from our hill. This has been a bad few days.

With temperatures up to -20 degrees due to heavy winds, not many folks were venturing out, except it seems to drop off trash and recycling. And then we headed straight back home!

Still snow in the ground and a big freeze due for the weekend. Too cold for outdoor activities.

To a bird's vision, these barely there snowflakes appear to glow, stopping them from crashing into the glass. I'm hoping they'll work as I have so many windows.

Mmmm, a very healthy salad mixed together with my favorite wasabi mayonnaise. My addiction to this mayo hasn't waned even slightly but at least I'm not adding it to my breakfasts yet!

Heading over 66 and then homeward bound, making it home just before dark.

Marshall's Ruritan Clyb Hall was crushed by the blizzard. They plan to rebuild with the insurance money but have had to post a GoFundMe page for the equipment and furnishings.

I can't get enough of this stuff, I'm currently eating it with almost every meal. It's awesome!!

My favorite black bear cushion which I bought on the Skyline Drive many moons ago. Judging by the few white hairs, it would seem that Kota sneaks in a cuddle now and then too...
