I saw this on the wall at an antique store and staring at it could only think, "Why?" Why would anyone think that stuffed fish glued onto a tree branch would ever look good?

This arrived today, one of my favorite TV series as a teenager. Can't wait to find some time to watch it.

I attended another Master Gardener's workshop in Marshall, this time on herbs. Loved this pretty Thai Basil.

This little chap spent a busy few minutes on this plant. I think he checked every flower.

I came across these beautiful little cat food bowls and was tempted to get one each for the movies, but the very cheap price tag and the fact that they were made in China scared me off, in case they weren't safe to eat off. Shame.

I saw this as I neared home, not something you see very often.

Tried a new place for lunch today called Megabytes Eatery which had a wall covered in computer parts. My Bahn-Mi sandwich was delicious.

Being National Ice Cream Day today, I partook in a delicious chocolate cone. Unfortunately with the temperature being in the 90's my treat started melting fast and the next 10 minutes became a licking frenzied as I desperately and unsuccessfully attempted to quell the rivulets of ice cream dribbling down the cone and on to my lap. But most of it was consumed and enjoyed!

I looked in my side mirror this morning before I set off for work and noticed that the sun had turned the condensation on Stuart to gold, making him look like he was covered in gold glitter. There's no editing at all on this image apart from cropping.

My new memory foam mattress arrived this evening and is resting in the spare room for 48 hours. I'm so looking forward to a great night's sleep on Saturday 

Only in Walmart. Who on earth would want their food in the same container as their drink?

Yay! Managed to eat the whole (small size!) packet of Cheetos before I licked my fingers!

A hit and sticky day spent shooting sunflowers in Maryland.

Went to a class in Marshall today where we were told what plants deers dislike and how to erect a fence to deter them. We even had a pretend deer!

I've really been hating the tremendous amount of residential building near work, green fields disappearing as ugly houses took their place, but something good has come of it. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when, while driving around the new builds, I saw this. 2 out of my 3 favorite stores opening soon, so now I'll be able to go shopping in my lunch hours!

A handful of us made it out to Dogfish Head Brewery despite the torrential rain clogging up traffic. A fun evening with plans made for future events.

I'm loving how this building in Marshall has been restored using black French lacquer with hand drawn hunting murals. It's going to be 2 shops with apartments above. Looking forward to the openings!

Kota loving his birthday present. He's been using it a lot but I don't think poor Rosie Lee has been allowed on it. I'll give it a bit longer before I interfere!
