Thanks Myra, for my lesson today on seed potatoes. I pulled these from the fridge and then promptly put them back to let them sprout some more. They will be my first 'seeds'.

A horrible day of rain, high winds and even some snow, so none of us wanted to venture out. It was a day of snuggling under fleeces, as illustrated by Rosie Lee.

Took me a while when at the Marshall Post Office to realize that this pretty vase of silk flowers is actually a vase of pens. A customer made them, how cute.

The scraper at work used for removing excess ink from the screens prior to cleaning. Looked kinda pretty.

Mike wanted me to do a rush order but I didn't want to give up the  computer I was on as I was in the middle of a huge shipping job and didn't want anyone messing it up. I asked Mike to put a notice on it while I was in my office away from it and laughed my head off when I came back and saw these notices. Even the mouse got a notice lol!

Clutching my 6 pack, payment for making boxes this evening at Bust Head Brewery. This was the first public participation in helping them and I was the only girl in the group, so the first outside female help! It was great fun with an awesome payment of their English Pale Ale. So nice to have this brewery close to home, I'll be a frequent visitor.

Rosa brought in a BUCKET of mozzarella cheese today at lunch time. It must have cost a fortune!

I've found something I'm really good at making, soups. This is my version of carrot and ginger with some grated cheese on top. It was outstandingly delicious, if I may say so myself!

Just a few of the multiple flocks of birds that I had visit me today. Word must be getting about regarding the free handouts. I had sparrows, juncos, grackles, cowbirds, redwing blackbirds, warblers, cardinals, doves and crows plus some others that I couldn't identify. There were also a lot of youngsters from last year who hadn't got their adult feathers.
The cats were in heaven with the show through the patio doors.

Got in a last minute hike on England Mountain before the snow started. It was cold up there!

Riding the metro down to DC today and I saw this young family while waiting for the train. A sign of the times, no interaction between them, all 3 giving full attention to their smart phones.

The trees a I drive up the hill in the evening. It won't be long before they're covered with leaves.

Clouds over Cobbler Mountain as the light disappears. The temperature is dropping over 40 degrees tonight with up to 55mph winds and thunderstorms starting to roll in. I've had 6 weather alerts on my phone so far.

Some really cute Easter bunnies in Michaels today, may have to return when I'm not shopping for work stuff.

Couldn't be bothered to wait in the long queues for a car wash over the weekend so Stuart had his wash on the way to work this morning. No waiting. Yay!

A big turn out to the reception night at Artscape where 50 of us had photos on display.

Had to drastically crop and blur this so I don't give anything away but suffice to say this was a cool job for us. The full picture will be revealed after the event.

The Green Genie is looking beautiful after a service, a clean, some replacement parts and a new handle bar wrap. Roll on Spring!

Love the snowy mornings on the way to work.

My first night with a new photographers group, and it's actually close to me, only a 20 minute drive. This is the lovely room we use. A friendly low key group, and already looking forward to the next meeting.

Another day of snow and frigid temperatures, as well as loss of power for a while. Not good.

This is parked up in Marshall. Military help for the incoming snow storm? Not likely, but would love to borrow it for the next couple of days!
