Woke up to a winter wonderland this morning. The snow kept falling and we got 5-6" before it stopped and started melting late afternoon.

I was shocked to pass this burnt ruin in Marshall this morning. Although I love abandoned buildings, when they've become charred they lose their appeal. I hope it's razed soon.

A damp foggy morning on the way to work.

While collecting my mail I notice how lovely the mountains looked with their heavy veil of clouds.

Happy St Patrick's Day from down at SuspenseDC.  Not really an Irish tradition to be hanging around like this but at least her nails and the ropes were green!

Had a completely wasted trip to Bed, Bath & Beyond this afternoon and laughed out loud when I saw this trashy bed ensemble. Didn't both to look at the price.

Needed a new computer in my office and knowing it was going to be custom built I asked for lights. Squelchikins definitely got lights! Found this waiting for me when I got to work this morning. Just need to add some bling and perfection will be achieved!

Boss Man brought Addison to work today to help out. Here he's working out the pricing for 300 shirts with 4 colors and metallic ink on the front and 2 one color sleeve locations.

We send these out for one of our clients, a really interesting read.

We had a pair of broken binoculars returned today so I set to busting out the glass lenses. I was on my own in production making a huge racket as I wielded my hammer continuously on plastic which didn't want to give up its precious glass, yet nobody came out to see what all the commotion was about. I guess on a Friday afternoon anything goes. Anyway I only pulverized one lens and managed to save the other 9. There may be some good photo opportunities with these.

While sitting on the sofa engrossed in work, I looked around to see Kota asleep behind me. It took everything I had to not tickle that little paw.

The snow storm dropped about 7" here on the hill and we lost power for a few hours but the day ended OK with no damages. And the wood stove blazed throughout.

The snow sky rolls in as I grab last minute necessities to ride out the storm. Water, batteries and and bird seed were my purchases. I'm now all set.
